Mr. Tony O. Elumelu, Chairman, Heirs Holdings will lead stakeholder discussions on Galvanizing SMEs for Inclusive Development at this year’s Annual LAPODevelopment Forum. The Forum is scheduled for Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos State, Nigeria from 10am.
Prof. Pat Utomi is expected to chair the occasion with Mrs. Ibukun Awosika, chairman, First Bank of Nigeria as Special Guest of Honour, according to Sabina Idowu-Osehobo, LAPO Executive Director.
The conference programme will consist of high-profile plenary lectures and technical sessions with inputs from key sectors of the economy. Development partners, policy makers, academia, and leading civil society organizations within and outside the country are expected to participate and make significant contributions with inputs from key sectors of the economy.
The outcome of the Forum would be a well documented report containing presentations, discussions, major conclusions and recommendations capable of providing a realistic road map for achieving a vibrant SMEs sector armed with the wherewithal to drive Nigeria’s economic growth and development.
